Canada's Jericho Beach Music is proud to announce the launch of Jericho Beach Music UK.

The Jericho Beach imprint will at last be sold in Europe on this on-line store in collaboration with Weatherbox and at normal retail outlets with distribution through Pinnacle Distribution.

In time the whole Jericho Beach catalogue will be made available on CD and via Digital Download from this store.

Jericho Beach Music was formed in 1997 with the release of "Compadres", a truly Canadian collaboration between singer/songwriter James Keelaghan and Latin guitarist Oscar Lopez. Jericho Beach Music was a natural expansion of Festival Distribution, Canada's distributor of independent folk, roots, jazz and world music. The label's name was inspired by Vancouver's stunning Jericho Beach, site of the annual summer folk music festival where musicians from all over the world gather for an eclectic weekend of music.

"This collaboration with Weatherbox and is an important step for our label," comments label president Jack Schuller. "For the first time, our Jericho Beach imprint will be available in Europe. Previously we have had to license releases to American or UK companies to bring our Canadian releases to that market."
